Slimming World has now joined us on a Saturday morning from 8:30 am

many thanks to the Lady Mayor for attending and helping to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 3rd age group at Warring Green.
It was a great fun afternoon with entertainment provided by the 3rd age choir and a local ukulele band.

The building is run by volunteers and we’re always happy to hear from people who’d like to help.

Due to the ever increasing demand for rooms to rent for parties and as a regular meeting place, Waring Green Community Centre’s committee has been able to make spaces available in their already busy timetable.

We have a number of groups who meet on a regular basis their activities are as diverse as Scottish dancing, and needlework crafts.

We offer a wide range of space for hire at reasonable rates.

Unfortunately in the past we have had to turn away people applying to use our rooms due to our timetable being full. We now have a number of slots during the week and at the weekend for some of our rooms. The rooms do vary in size and all of them are spacious and comfortable; so whether it is for business or pleasure the centre can offer you the perfect space for your activity.

Our building is wheelchair friendly and easily accessible, with a bus stop right outside the door. There are kitchen facilities available and the use of this is included in any room hire price.

We need and welcome your support, when you use our facilities you are investing in a great community resource. We are a responsible charity; any profit we make is reinvested in the centre. The building is run by volunteers and we’re always happy to hear from people who’d like to help.

If you would like information on our current groups, you can go to our website at http/: waringgreen.wordpress.com. You will be surprised what goes on here every day of the week.

Or if you are interested in hiring a room either for the party or business meeting or maybe for your group to meet there, then contact us to discuss your needs.

Either contact our chairman Tony Mead on (01484) 716635, e-mail, tony.mead@rocketmail.com:
